EAST MIDLANDS COMPANIES READY TO DEMONSTRATE INNOVATION AT LOW CARBON EVENT
The Transport iNet is preparing to take eight companies to the 2012 national CENEX Low Carbon Vehicle (LCV) event on 5th and 6th September at the Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedford.
The nationally acclaimed event provides the SMEs with a unique platform to showcase the world leading, low carbon transport technologies they offer and to meet with a range of industry contacts. The organisation and support provided by the Transport iNet has been instrumental in helping the selected companies to gain valuable exhibition space.
Along with the Transport iNet, representatives of I.M.Kelly (Cobra Design), Frost EV Systems, Global GT Ltd, N & B Engineering, Parkinson Harnessing Technology, SEC UK Industrial Battery Ltd and Techne Cast will be exhibiting. In addition to information on each company and its innovation, the stand will feature the ‘Raptor’ from Ecospin – the world’s first and only fully road legal, stand-on electric personal vehicle.
John Frodsham, Director of the Transport iNet, said: “The CENEX LCV event provides a fantastic opportunity for regional SMEs to meet industry figureheads who might have a positive impact on the future of their business. We’re expecting to receive a lot of attention at our stand – visitors won’t be able to miss us thanks to the Raptor and each SME will have a representative ready to hand out information.”
This event is free to attend for delegates. If you would like to attend, or, for more information, please Register now
The Transport iNet is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) with the aim of increasing the level of innovation in the East Midlands, thus helping to improve business competitiveness, margins, sustainability and growth. It enables specific sectors to work together, share ideas, technologies, intelligence, innovation and create a link between industry and the academic community.
